ITW - Sébastien Cheramy

I think Sebastien is one of my favorite artist as his work mixes everything I love: mixed media, a kind of "street art" influence, and the search for order and balance in a harsh and raw world. It looks like to me that his work is about bringing back memories, nostalgia at some point; but we are still in a bright world where color comes to light the things up!

ITW - Benka

As a lot of artists I try to highlight, I discovered Benka while I was scrolling the Explorer page on Instagram. I just saw one pieces, with a chaotic but lovely composition. There was a lot of colors, numbers, letters; everything was inconstent but balanced in the end. And I loved that! As soon as I shared it on the page, it was a success!

ITW - Lena Zak

The thing is, when I started Sauvage Gallery (back in 2018), Lena was one of the first artists I followed. Slovakia-born artist Lena Zak mobilizes Abstract Expressionist-inspired strategies to create bold, gestural compositions that she refers to as “intense representations of emotion”. Spontaneity and raw feeling are key to her process, which is about navigating chaos and uncertainty in an effort to find balance.

ITW - Justin N. Kim

I discovered Justin one day, by looking at my direct messages on Instagram. I did not know him since that moment, but I decided to check his account and saw that he has a unique style. I was stunned by the piece entitled "Modern Age" because of the mixed media work – oil on wood, presenting something like a city map or a computer motherboard circuits (you will see it during the interview).

ITW - Grégoire Murith

I was randomly walking around on Instagram when I came across the colorful works of Grégoire. But, going further than simply sharing his works, I also wanted to know what was hidden behind this style that was both minimalist, and with a palette of bright colors, often opposite. He kindly lent himself to the game of questions and answers, and here is the transcription of this very rich exchange. I hope you will find it as interesting as I do, and that you enjoy the world of Grégoire Murith!

ITW – Manuela Karin Knaut

The first time I saw Manuela's work, I think it was 2 years ago. It was a big (giant!) piece, mainly with pink all over it and it was like a street art work. I instantly followed her on Instagram and since that time, I can't stop loving what she does. Her vision, her style and the trust she is building with the audience: everything is cool and joyful.
